Mr. P.J. Quinn, the pioneer butcher of Denison has opened a new meat market at No. 116 Main street, next to the Gazetteer office, where he will hereafter be found.  Joe wishes the Gazetteer to say to his old friends and customers that he will make an extra effort please them, and guaranteesto handle nothing but the very best of fresh meats.  Give him a trial.

The Gazetteer received a pleasant call Wednesday from our old townsman, Joe Quin.  Joe is one of the old, old timers, casting his lot here in February 1873.  Joe was one of the very first to open a butcher shop.  The city charged him $100 per annum license and $80 per month rent for very small accomodations.  The first cattle he ever bought were 4 head from Judge LaBaume.  The world has treated Joe very kindly.  He has changed but little in personal appearance.
