Premium List of the Denison Driving Park and Fair Association Attracts Widespread Attention.

Never in the history of the Denison Driving Park and Fair Association has its annual premium list attracted such widespread and favorable attention as during the present season, and the most successful fair and race meet since the inception of the organization is assured in October.

Letters of inquiry from well-known cattle, swine, and poultry breeders are arriving daily from widely separated sections, and the demand for accommodations is constantly increasing. Proprietors of the St. Cloud Stock Farm at San Antonio have directed that thirty-two stalls be reserved for their famous Jersey herd. David Harrell, owner of the Durham Stock Farm at Liberty Hall, Texas, will enter his exhibition herd of sixteen Shorthorns, which were awarded eight prizes at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition. W. S. Ikard of Henrietta will exhibit twenty Herefords. These and other entires practically assure the largest cattle exhibit ever held north of Dallas.

Nat Edmondson and John Stewart, successful swine breeders of Grayson County, were here yesterday from Sherman and will exhibit several prize winners. A number of Indian Territory breeders will also require accommodations.

Poultry raisers from point as far north as Greenville, Ohio, will try for the attractive premiums, and this exhibit alone will prove the largest in years.

In order to be prepared with adequate accommodations for exhibitors, work on the stalls, poultry department and grounds is being pushed to rapid completion. More than 100 coops are being replaced in the large Exposition hall, the section formerly used for that purpose being converted into stalls.

Owing to the absence of C. M. Bryant, who was out of the city on business, the meeting of the Driving Park directors announced for yesterday afternoon was postponed until some day early next week, when important matters will be considered. It is practically certain that a special day will be set apart during the fair for the big demonstration of organized labor, which was planned for last Monday. A committee from the Trades Council will confer with the Fair directors tomorrow, and a definite date will be fixed. The farmers promise to be on hand in large numbers.
