Dear Lester:

Marla Tortorici, our vice president, kindly passed on to me the material you supplied to her concerning HUD's programs
for multifamily housing for the elderly. As Denison Heritage, Inc., looks for ways to revitalize downtown, we are most grateful for this sort of information.

Do you remember when my brother David, my neice, and I came and interviewed you on your experiences at the Denison Poultry and Egg Company? I have often thought with pleasure of your and your wife's generosity in sharing your memories with us.

Now I and the other members of the board of Denison Heritage, Inc., are indebted to you. Be assured that your information will be perused and put to good use.

Sincerely,

(Dr.) Mavis Anne Bryant

President

Worked at DPE 1.5 years until the company left town. There were trucks going to Colorado.
Has no photos.
A person to contact is Harold E. Teague. He worked there and his dad was the night watchman the night the place burned down.
Also James T. Evans, 465-3478, 624 Kerby Drive, was a hog buyer.
Doris Pena worked in the office. She may still live at 407 W. Acheson St., Denison TX 75020, tel. 465-6323.
