March 5 - The Denison Rifles had their first meeting.

March 8 - Work on the Dr. Bailey block, on Main street, was commenced....The council authorized the placing of an electric light in the park, and another at the tunnel under the Missouri Pacific Railway track.

March 13 - A.R. Collins sold five lots on Tone avenue to Frank Kohfeldt for $950....Mrs. Hanna, mother of Mike Hanna, died.

March 14 - Mr. W.L. Sanford, of Sherman, and Miss Lottie Hughes, of this city, were married....C.A. Walterhouse purchased two more summer cars for his street railway....Stowe McComas died of typhoid fever.

March 18 - The Five and Ten Cent Store caught fire. The building was saved, but the goods were badly damaged.

March 19 - Miss Delia Courtright died of consumption.

March 24 - Jules DesVoignes died.

March 26 - A party of Minnesota capitalists started out to look over the proposed Choctaw Coal & Railway line....Geo. Hanna bought a lot near the Boulevard from Mack Fletcher for $300.

March 30 - Thomas Grace purchased the grocery stock of Haralson & Co., which was sold under the hammer by Constable Mixon for $626.50.
