FIRE AT WHITESBORO
Seven Houses Burned in One Block

[Special to the Democrat]
A destructive fire broke out in this place about 12 o’clock to-day, totally destroying seven brick buildings in one block.

The fire originated on South Union street, and the following property was destroyed: W.D. Ligon, two buildings, together with five hundred bushels of corn and four hundred bushels of millet; J.S. Harris, two buildings; M. Rosenbaum, one; J.H. Choice, one; Goodrich, one.
