Communities, Past & Present

Falls County presently has three incorporated cities that are completely inside the county (Lott, Marlin, Rosebud) and also shares two incorporated cities with McLennan County (Bruceville-Eddy, Golinda); Bruceville and Eddy were separate communities at one time. Many of these communites are now ghost towns with only a cemetery or church to mark them. Some of the communites are either on the county line or just over it.

The Handbook of Texas Online has articles on most of these communites.
