Anton C. Hoelscher

Anton C. Hoelscher (called "Tony"), b July 15, 1909 in Westphalia, Falls County, Texas, d January 5, 1972 and buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Westphalia - was son of Beno ("Ben") and Lizzie (Willberg) Hoelscher, natives of Westphalia, Texas.

Tony was married to Helen P. Gausemeier, b February 18, 1911. The couple lived on their farm, and worshipped in the Church of the Visitation at Westphalia. They were the parents of two sons:

Larry Raymond Hoelscher, b October 24, 1946 - attended school at Westphalia and was a graduate of Rosebud High School. He was a graduate of Temple Junior College, and attended Texas Technological University at Lubbock. He was a member of the Texas National Guard; and he presently is a member of the Rotary Club in Marlin - participating in various community affairs. In 1986, Larry was elected to his third term as District Clerk of Falls County. He is not married, and makes his with his mother near Lott, on the family farm.

Anthony Lynn Hoelscher (called "Tony Lynn"), b December 19, 1949 - attended school at Westphalia, and is a Lott High School graduate. He is a farmer and rancher near the Lott Community, and is serving his second term as a County Commissioner for Precinct three. He previously had served the county as a deputy sheriff. Tony Lynn was married to Lillian E. Michuewicz, of Lott; and they have three sons: Dwayne Scott Hoelscher, Anthony Lynn Hoelscher, Jr.; and Quinton Ray Hoelscher, seventh generation members of the Hoelscher family in Texas. Tony Lynn is a professional fireman, and at the time he became a Captain with the Austin, Texas Fire Department, he was the youngest ever so appointed.
