William M. Cohn, b 1862 at Henderson, Rusk County, Texas, d about 1946 according to family members - a son of Bernard Asher and Flora B. (Richey) Coone. He married Louisa Jane ("Lula") Reed, b ca 1875 - date of death not known, and both reported to be buried in Calvary Cemetery at Marlin, Texas - a daughter of John and Eliza (Casey) Reed. Lula was reared, after the death of her parents, with her sister by their mother's sister, Amanda (Casey) and her husband, James R. Cohn - who was an older brother to William M. Cohn.

William M. and Lula Cohn lived East of Marlin all their lives, and reared nine children:

Bernard Cohn, who married Vera (maiden name unknown), and had Harvey Cohn and Daphne (Cohn) Lambert.

John Cohn, who married a Miss Loy, and had John Bailey Cohn, Wayne Cohn, James Cohn, Kenneth Cohn, and Jerry Cohn.

James E. Cohn, b March 21,1902 in Falls County, Texas - married Martha Williams, b July 4, 1905 and had Doreatha Cohn, Shirley Cohn, J. E. Cohn, Jr., and Nelda Cohn.

Willie Mae Cohn - married first to Floyd Smith and had Floyd Smith, Jr. and Fred Allen Smith, and married second to Ollie Rodgers.

Flora Addie Cohn - married A. B. Carpenter, and had Louise Carpenter, Donald Carpenter, and Addie Jean Carpenter.

Minnie Cohn - married Herman Powell, and had Dorothy Marie Powell and Harry Lane Powell.

Elva Jewel Cohn - married Claude Brinkley, and had Claude Brinkley, Jr., Billy Guy Brinkley, and Larry Dean Brinkley.

Jasper Curtis Cohn - married Clara (Taylor), and had Dwynell Cohn, Shirley (Cohn) Hilton, Patsy (Cohn) Cotton, and William Lynn Cohn.

Floyd Reed Cohn - married first to Bobbie (Spencer); married second to Nola (maiden name unknown), and had Myrna Lou Cohn, Verna Lynn Cohn, and Jerry Cohn.
