Paul Ferdinand Baeuchle, b August 1, 1873 in Germany, d August 17, 1930 in Marlin, Falls County. Texas and buried there in Calvary Cemetery -- came from Germany in 1893, through the port of Galveston, and first settled in Brenham, Texas, where a friend of his grandmother,who was a member of the Methodist Church, had settled previously. Paul was also of the Methodist faith. While in Brenham, he attended Blinn College, and became a Methodist Minister -- later becoming a Lay Minister, while carrying on the profession of photography.

When Paul Baeuchle settled in Marlin, Falls County, Texas, he had become a fine photographer and he established his Baeuchle Studios-- which became synonomous with fine photography. A family just didn't have a good picture if it had not been made by Mr. Baeuchle. While photographing many and varied subjects, he specialized in family portraits, which are cherished by families throughout Central Texas.

On June 27, 1907, Paul F. Baeuchle was married to Rachel Wieting, b March 16, 1881, d April 13, 1959, and buried by her husband in Calvary Cemetery --a daughter of John and Adolphine (Haug) Wieting. They were the parents of three children.

Marie Baeuchle, b March 12, 1909 -- married Waddell Pierce Williams, Jr., b October 29, 1905, who had two children and continue to live in Marlin, Texas.

Louise Baeuchle, b November 12, 1919-- was a 1936 graduate of Marlin High School and was one of a fine Trio of Singers. She was an Art Major at Texas Womens University, Denton, where she earned a degree. She is now a professional artist, and specializes in landscapes, portraits, and china painting. She married Harold Holze, who is deceased and they had two children: Kenneth Hal Holze and Karen Lou Holze. Louise continues to reside in Fort Worth, as do her two children.

Alfred A. Baeuchle, b December 1, 1921---married Moye Ann Bratton, of Cleburne, Texas. They had four children, and reside in Leavenworth, Kansas.
