Petition of Citizens of the Durango Community located
at Durango 1886.
The State of Texas
County of Falls
To the Honorable E. C.
Stuart, County Judge:
We,
the undersigned, bona fide residents of the aforesaid county and State,
respectfully represent that we propose, in good faith, to organize a School
Community, according to the provisions of the School Law, for the benefit of the
White scholastic population herein represented; said community to be known
as (insert name) Durango
School Community.
We
respectfully suggest the appointment of F. B. Buster, J. P. Bolin and W. J.
Boyd as Trustees of said
school.
Petitioners further represent that there is a good and convenient school house
of sufficient capacity to accommodate all the school children in said community.
