Elsie Olga Rachui Zost

April 13, 1914 - May 7, 2007

     Elsie Olga Rachui Zost, 93, of Marlin, entered into rest Monday, May 7, 2007.

     Services were held Friday, May 11 at Adams Funeral Chapel with Dr. Larry Felice officiating, burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family received friends on Thursday evening.

     Mrs. Zost was born April 13, 1914 in Falls County to John and Hattie Grohoske Rachui. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. She loved her family and enjoyed baby sitting and Polka music. She was an employee of the Famous Store in Marlin for over 30 years and also sold Avon products until she was 88 years old.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Zost, on December 16, 1994 and her parents.

     Survivors include a son, Albert Zost, Jr. and wife Charlotte of Athens; two daughters: Betty L. Rochelle and husband Tommy of Duncanville, and Linda K. Moore and husband Bobby of Huntsville; a brother, Bill Rachui and wife Eva of Advance, North Carolina; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
