ANTONE WASHINGTON JR.

     Antone Washington Jr., passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Big Spring Hospital March 24, 2005.

     Funeral services are scheduled at the Bernard Street Church of Christ in Marlin, Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Dena Lang will officiate the service.

     Mr. Washington, the son of Antone and Marie Williams Washington was born in Maysfield, Texas, and was reared and educated in Marlin. He was a longtime resident of Andrews, Texas and was retired from Exxon following more than 30 years of dedicated service. He was member of the Church of Christ in Andrews.

     Survivors include two sons, Arthur Lee Bryant, Portland, Oregon, and Roy Paul Washington and his wife Stephanie, Sacremento, CA; one daughter, Eula Alyene Washington Womack and husband Bobby of Dallas; two nieces, Bridgette Toleston of Marlin, Willie Jean Cook, Plainview; two nephews, Thomas Toleston and wife Jo of Montgomery, AL, Allen Toleston and wife Jerlene of San Bernadino, CA; five grandchildren, one great-grandson; plus a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

     Paul Funeral in Marlin is in charge of arrangements.
