PREACHER KILLED.

Troy, Texas, June 1.--Rev. W W Warren, pastor of the Christian church, was instantly killed tonight by the explosion of the gas machine.
Mr. Warren was charging the machine when the explosion occurred, and was knocked down.  Several people had gathered in the church, but none were near enough to the explosion to be injured.  The loud report of the explosion struck them with consternation and a break was made for the door, but the extent of the accident was soon divined, and as the smoke cleared away those present gathered around the dying pastor, while a doctor was sent for.  Mr. Warren lived only a few minutes and never spoke.
Deceased leaves a wife and three children.
