MARION WARHOL

Marion Warhol, 84, of Bremond died Wednesday, August 24 in Bryan. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 28, at 3 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond with Reverend Celso Yu officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bremond. A rosary service was held Saturday, August 27, at 8 p. m. at Bremond Funeral Home.

     Marion resided in Bremond for 23 years and was an avid sportsman. He loved finishing the Brazos River and hunting in the Brazos bottom. He served with in Army in World War II. He was retired from General Motors.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Anthonett Warhol; one brother, Fred L. Warhol; two brothers-in-law, Tony Nowaski and Louis Swick; and one niece, Rita Marjoitta Schroeder.

     He is survived by four sisters, Margart Swick of Bremond, Lilliam Rekieta and husband Stash of Bremond, Clara Nowaski of Marlin, and Betty Margoitta and husband Vence of Marlin; and one sister-in-law, JoAnn Warhol of Bremond.

     Pallbearers for the funeral were Fred Warhol Jr., Daniel Swick, Stanley Rekieta Jr., Sam Nowaski, Vence Margoitta and Gerry Nowaski.
