Margaret Kuropata Wornat
January 23, 1926 - March 4, 2007

     Margaret Wornat, 81, entered into rest Sunday, March 4, 2007. Graveside services were held March 7, 2007 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin with Rev. Clement Gordon officiating.

     Mrs. Wornat was born January 23, 1926 in Marlin to Cyril and Anna Kuropata. She married Roy Leslie Wornat April 16, 1949. He preceded her in death February 2000.

     Mrs. Wornat was a Lutheran. She enjoyed sewing, shopping, taking care of people, especially her husband. She never met a stranger, her laughter was contagious, and she was a good mother and mentor. She loved her grandchildren.

     She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

     Survivors include a son, Roy Lynn and wife Kathy Wornat of Riesel; two daughters, Brenda Joyce and husband Floyd Smith of Simonton, and Elizabeth Elaine and husband Kenneth Dieterich of Valley Mills; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
