Mrs. Bertha Walts

     BREMOND  --  Mrs. Bertha Juanita Walts, 77, of Bremond died Sunday at a Bremond nursing home.

     Services will be at 12:30 p.m. today at Peiskee Funeral Chapel in Bremond, the Rev. George Courtney, Jr., officiating.  Burial will be at Criswell Cemetery in Falls County.

     Mrs. Walts was born Aug. 16, 1909 in Nacogdoches.  She was a homemaker and a Baptist.  She was married to William H. Walts, who died April 25, 1959.

     Survivors include three sons, William E. Walts of Hurst, James F. Walts of Freeport and David A. Walts of Houston; seven daughters, Ruby Vargas of Laredo, Lucille Hamilton of Bremond, Patsy Tucker of Houston, Maxine Glanz and Dorothy Doty, both of Waco, Peggy Hines of Bay City, and Janell Morgan of Houston; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
