Asa H. Willis, Sr.

      February 19 marked the death of Asa H. Willis, Sr. of Temple. The funeral services were held Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock at Theo by the Reverend Smith of Temple.  Mr. Willis was formerly a resident of the Theo section.  He was born in New York City in 1850, was over 70 years of age at the time of death.  He is survived by his wife and six children, Asa H. Willis, Jr., Abel Willis, Miss Katherine Willis, Mrs. J. C. McCrary of Temple, Mrs. J. F. Read of Ft. Worth, and Mrs. R. G. Frazier of Durango.  Also, by a brother, S. B. Willis and a sister, Mrs. Higgins, of New York City.
