DALLAS MORNING NEWS

February 12, 1885

Marlin, Dec 1---  Thomas D. Williams, Esq., for more than twenty years a member of this bar, died last night and was buried to-day. He was much esteemed by all who know him, particularly by his brother lawyers, for his spiritly talents, generous impulses and sterling integrity. He will long be kindly remembered by all who knew him. The members of the Marlin bar met in the courthouse this morning, and after adopting resolutions expressive of their grief for his loss appointed a committee to present the same to the District and County Courts.
