David Layne Williams

     BEN HUR -- David Layne Williams of Ben Hur died Wednesday at a Groesbeck hospital.  He was 28.

     Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Bill Wright, Sr. officiating.  Burial will be at Criswell Cemetery.

     Mr. Williams was born Jan. 11, 1966 in Mesquite.  He attended Mesquite schools and lived in the Ben Hur Community in Limestone County for the past six years.

     Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Motl of Ben Hur; his father and stepmother, Joe and Twyla Williams of Roanoke; one brother, Joe Dewayne Williams of Mesquite; one sister, Debbie Perry of Kernes; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Broxton of Ben Hur and Mr. Harold Williams of Dallas.

     Visitation will be this morning until service time at the funeral home.
