Kie E. Wilganowski
January 7, 1923 — May 20, 2004



     MARLIN — Services for Kie E. Wilganowski, 81, of Marlin are set for 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marlin.  The Rev. Christopher Ferrer will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with military honors.  A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Adams Funeral in Marlin.  Mr. Wilganowski died Thursday.

     He was born in Falls County and was a lifelong resident of the Marlin area. He retired from the road and bridge department of Falls County in 1995 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He served in the European Theater as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II.

     Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Wilganowski of Marlin; a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Judy Wilganowski of Lacy Lakeview; two sisters, Katy Mushinski and Willie Mae Mushinski, both of Hearne; a grandson; a step-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
