-----

Was on a Visit to Old Home---

Burried (sic) There.

-----

Gideon L. Viridet died at his old in Tampa, Florida, Monday, April 22, after an illness extending back for several months.  Deceased was a citizen of Marlin for several years.  He was in poor health for the last four or five years. He disposed of his business interests here early in the year and went to Dublin, Tex.  From there he went to Florida where death relieved him of his suffering.

Deceased was a member of the Knights of Pythias here and the information of his death came in a telegram from Mrs. Viridet, who is in Dublin, to C. L. Fannin, Chancellor Commander of the lodge.  Communication with the Dublin lodge elicited the further information that the remains would be interred in Florida.

Deceased was a man whose best friends were those who knew him best.
