Bennie Guest Shaw, age 70, of Marlin, entered into rest on Saturday, August 11, 2007.

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at the Adams Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clement Gordon officiating. Burial was in the Carolina Cemetery. The family received friends on Sunday evening at Adams Funeral Home

Mrs. Shaw was born December 24, 1936 in Lott, Texas to William Isham and Edna Worthen Guest. She was a homemaker, a member of Trinity Memorial Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Falls County. She loved to crochet, babysit, play Bingo and sang in the choir at First Baptist Church of Marlin.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Stinson and husband Jack Stinson of Riesel, Lucy Guest of Jacksboro, and Shranda Shaw of Lorena; her mother, Edna Guest of Marlin; brothers, Tommie Guest of Waco, Jimmy Guest of Waco; and seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
