     Stella Scott, 87, of Marlin entered into rest Friday, March 9, 2007. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Chilton cemetery with Rev. Andy Bratcher officiating.

     Born Stella Louise Patke was the fourth child of 11 born to Henry Patke and Annie Patrillo Patke in Marlin, Texas on December 26, 1919. She served in the United States Army as a sergeant.

     She was proceeded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister and her husband, Louis Tom Scott.

     Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Suzi and Weldon Reneau of Marlin; granddaughter, Dawn Griggs and Brian Ashby of Tyler; two great-grandchildren, Chance Scott Griggs and Stella Gentry "GiGi" Griggs; three sisters, Pat Ingram of Weatherford, Marie and husband Tony Sienkiewich of Houston, and Francis Williams of Deridder, LA; one brother, Louis and wife Fern Patke of China Spring; sister-in-law Alice Patke of Ross; brother-in-law Jeff "Tink" Scott of Chilton; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
