MARY DORIS (NEAL) LACINA SCOTT
December 14, 1922 - January 29, 2005

     Mary Doris Lacina Scott, 82, of Chilton, Falls Co., Texas entered into rest on Saturday, January 29, 2005. Services were held Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Chilton, Falls Co., Texas with Rev. Jason Burden officiating. Burial followed in the Chilton Cemetery, Falls Co., Texas.

     Mary was born on December 14, 1922 in Lott, Falls Co., Texas to Jim and Nora Manning Neal. She retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Company in 1982 after many years of service as a packing selector. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chilton, Falls Co., Texas and a life long resident of the Chilton, Falls Co., Texas area. She graduated from Lott High School and was a member of the all state basketball team. Mary attended the nursery at First Baptist for over 25 years and loved to watch her children and grandchildren play sports. Her first husband Frank Lacina preceded her in death.

     Survivors include her husband, Jeff Scott of Chilton, Falls Co., Texas; daughter, Janie Lopez and husband Pascua of Chilton, Falls Co., Texas; son, Frankie Lacina and wife Penny of Waco, McLennan Co., Texas; brother, Kenneth Neal of Robinson, McLennan Co., Texas; sisters, Anita Jones of Waco, McLennan Co., Texas, Billie Ruth Goode of Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia; step-son, Lee Scott and wife Margaret of Rosebud, Falls Co., Texas; step-daughters, Harriet Campbell and husband Jim of Rosebud, Falls Co., Texas, Tracy Kell of Fresno, Ft. Bend Co., Texas; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

     Pallbearers were Jeff Lacina, Bryan Lacina, Chris Lopez, Robert Scott, Lowell Scott, Jason Campbell, Colt Lacina, Clay Lacina and Travis Lacina.

     Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Chilton, Falls Co., Texas.
