Dies in Rosebud

 

 

     Johnnie F. Strothmeyer, age 46, died in a Rosebud hospital Friday afternoon, February 1, 1952, following hospitalization there for several days due to illness.

 

     The deceased was born at Blevins, October 1, 1905, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Strothmeyer. He was engaged in farming in the Troy community.

 

     Funeral services were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the Adams Funeral Chapel in Marlin, with a second service at the St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed Church at Otto, Rev. Paul Moore and Rev. E. M. Schaefer officiating. Burial was in the Otto cemetery.

 

     Surviving are his widow in the Troy section. A brother, Charlie Strothmeyer, Snook, Texas. Three sisters, Mrs. Annie Henricks, Houston; Mrs. F. A. Neumann, Perry; and Mrs. Otto Rogas, Lorena.

 

     Pallbearers were, Anton Miller, Arthur Miller, Otto Huber, John Huber, Willie Huber and Jack Sparks.
