Letha F. Saxon

 

     Services for Letha F. Saxon, 82, of Temple will be at 2 p.m. today in Harper-Talasek Funeral with Dr. Tom Henderson officiating.

 

     Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

 

     She died Saturday in a Temple hospital.

 

     Mrs. Saxon was born in Cego to James and Minnie Turner Stewart. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and taught in Falls County public schools for 15 years, later moving to Temple, where she worked at Jefferson and Emerson elementary schools. She was a member of Heights Baptist Church of Temple.

 

     Survivors are a son, Jimmy Stewart Saxon of Troy; two sisters, Lois Haddock of Temple and Audrey McClure of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; four brothers, Louis Stewart of Belton, Aubrey Stewart of Floydada, and Bernard Stewart and Fred Stewart, both of Waco; two grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

 

     Memorials may be made to Heights Baptist Church of Temple.
