Mrs. Minnie Stewart

 

 

     Mrs. Minnie Stewart, 86, of Rt. 1, Troy, died late Wednesday afternoon in a Temple hospital after an illness of several days.

 

     Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Harper-Talasek Funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery near Blevins.

 

     Mrs. Stewart was born in Nashville, Ark. and made her in Falls County most of her life. She was married to James Arthur Stewart in July, 1906. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

 

     Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Audrey McClure of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Lois Haddock of Troy and Mrs. Letha Saxon of Temple; four sons, Aubrey Stewart and Fred Stewart of Floydada, Bernard E. Stewart of Waco, and Louis Stewart of Belton; three sisters, Mrs. Eula Moore and Mrs. Margaret Whetstone, both of Waco, and Mrs. Rebecca Clark of Eddy; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

 

     The family will be at 13 E. Xavier Ave. in Temple.
