James Edward Smith
November 27, 1950 - January 26, 2006

     Funeral services for Mr. James Edward Smith, 55, of Marlin, Texas, were held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral in Cameron. John Shackelford officiated.

     Mr. Smith died Thursday, January 26, 2006 at his residence. He was born November 27, 1950 in Ben Arnold and was a truck driver.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Tress Lopez Smith.

     He is survived by his wife, Jan of Marlin; his daughter, Leslie Elaine Smith, Austin; his brothers, George W. Smith Jr., Calvert and Horace Smith, Cameron; his sisters, Bea Owens, Lubbock; Mary Contreras, Hearne; Louise Garcia, El Mirage, Arizona; Helen Galvan, Cameron, and Tress Arbaugh, Hearne.

     Green-Patterson Funeral in Cameron was in charge of the arrangements.
