MAN DIES at FORT WORTH

Deceased Had Devoted Thirty-Eight
Years of Life to Baptist
Ministry

       The funeral of Rev. J. W. Quick, age 71 years, who died in Fort Worth Friday, was held there Saturday with funeral services conducted by the assistant pastor of the Broadway Baptist church of which deceased was a member, followed by interment at Greenwood cemetery.
       Deceased was the father of J. H. Quick of McClanahan, who, with Mrs. Quick, was called to Fort Worth by Rev. Quick's illness.
       Rev. Quick had devoted 38 years of his life to the Baptist ministry. Coming to Texas 30 years ago from Kentucky, he had lived in Temple and San Angelo before moving to Fort Worth eight years ago.
       Surviving deceased are his wife, two sons, J. H. Quick of McClanahan and Tom Quick of San Angelo, and one daughter, Mrs. W. W. Whitson of Fort Worh.
