RAYMOND E. GRIGG

Raymond E. Grigg, 78, of Marlin, died Thursday at a Temple hospital.

Services were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Peiske Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Billy Evans officiating.  Burial was at Bremond Cemetery.

Mr. Grigg was born June 12, 1910, in Alta Loma.  He was a retired bridge operator for the state of Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Grigg of Smithville; one brother, Davis L. Grigg, of Fredericksburg, Va; three daughters, Joy Tilitzki of Arcadia, Ann Maddox of Calvert and Martha Wills of Bremond; eight sons, Jackie R. Grigg of Bremond, C. E. (Lou) Grigg of Algoa, John W. Grigg of Layfayette (sic), La., Roy G. Grigg Sr. of Arcadia, Michael P. Grigg of Tulsa, Okla., Guy H. Grigg of Arcadia and Ben A. Grigg of Arlington, Va.; 42 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
