MARTIN L. GREGER
April 6, 1924 - April 1, 2006

     Martin L. Greger, 81, of Westphalia, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, in an Austin hospital.

     A Rosary was recited Monday evening at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral in Rosebud.

     Services were held Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the Church of Visitation in Westphalia with Monsignor Elmer Holtman officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in Westphalia.

     Mr. Greger was born April 6, 1924, in Durango, to Fred and Christine Kuhn Greger. He married Joyce Holtman on June 11, 1952. He worked as a farmer and rancher and served on the Cego-Durango Water Board for 40years. He was a member of the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia.

     Survivors are his wife, Joyce Greger of Westphalia; a son, David Greger and wife Lynne of Durango; four daughters, Jo Ann Beimer and husband, Bob of Temple, Gaile Doskocil and husband Thomas of Burlington, Karen Ward and husband Rick of Durango; a sister, Leona Weikel of China Spring; 14 grandchildren, Charles Doskocil, Angela Doskocil, Adrian Doskocil, Alicia Fikes, Meghan Greger, Seth Greger, Britnee Ward, Hobie Ward, Matthew Ward, David Ward, Erin Ward, Jaima Ferguson, Marla Beimer, and Ryan Beimer; three great-grandchildren.
