     Ruby K. Freeman, 87, passed away August 12, 2005 in Bryan. She was born to Cliff J. and Myrtle (Pressley) Freeman on August 2, 1918 in Marlin, Texas.

     Ruby was a member of Cavitt Church of Christ in Bryan. She was a secretary for the information office in the Agricultural Department at Texas A&M University until she retired in 1973. After retiring from Texas A&M she worked at the Cute & Cuddly Baby Store in Bryan. Ruby loved to cook and she was very much a people's person.

     She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James O. Freeman of Bryan; daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Robichaux of St. George, UT., Kay and Tom Rogers of Colorado Springs, CO.; brothers and sister-in-law, Bill and Tina Simmons of Pearland and Curtis Simmons of Lovelady; grandchildren, Kimberli Smith of Ft. Worth, Kathy Keszler of Salt Lake City, UT., Konrad and Stephanie Rogers of Denver, CO. and Dr. Kendall Rogers of Albuquerque, NM.; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Ashlyn Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with Rev. Dale Suel officiating. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
