Bugler, Robert Fuller Dies

Robert “Bob” Fuller a World War II veteran died on January 30, 2007.  He was born in Rogers in 1924.  Mr. Fuller provided a bugle rendition of TAPS as a part of the dedication program of the Clover Hill Cemetery Historical Marker.  His bugle sounded TAPS at the gate as the memorial caravan entered the cemetery as a special tribute for all veterans buried at Clover Hill.

After Bob Fuller sold his business and retired, he dedicated himself to performing TAPS at veterans’ funerals all over the State of Texas.  He said “No veteran should be interred without having a bugler play TAPS” and he drove anywhere, anytime, when he was asked.
