MRS. ETTER DIES; RITES SET FRIDAY

Mrs. Gladys Etter of 3013 North Thirtieth Street died at 2 p.m.

Wednesday in a Waco hospital. She had been ill about two months.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Wilkinson and

Hatch Chapel. Ministers Richard Daughtry and Trine Starnes will officiate

with burial near Mart. She was married to H.R. Etter.

Mrs. Etter had lived in Waco since 1927. She was a member of

Columbus

Avenue Church of Christ and the D.D. May Sunday School Class.

She was an employee of Pipkin Drug Store 13 years. She had worked in

the purchasing agent's office at James Connally Air Force Base until

becoming

ill.

Survivors include two daughters. Mrs. C. Ed Dyer of 2412 Morrow

Avenue

and Mrs. Charles G. Bettinger, Jr. of 2609 Grim Avenue; her mother, Mrs. J.

W. Byrns of Fort Worth; two brothers, Ed Earl Durham of Fort Worth and Ellis

Durham of California; a sister Mrs. E. Moon of Mart; three grandchildren.
