DANIE ELIZABETH HAUSENFLUCK DAILY

March 28, 1926 - June 5, 2007

     Danie Daily was gathered to her people on June 5, 2007 at the age of 81.

     She was born March 28, 1926 to Charles Robert and Mary Elizabeth Hausenfluck in Andice, Texas. A 1944 graduate of Georgetown High School, she later received a diploma from Nixion-Clay Business School in Austin.

     On November 28, 1944 she married Charles S. Daily of Georgetown who was serving in the US Navy at that time. Charles and Danie were blessed with four children, Charles Jr., Patricia, James and Angela and raised their family in Georgetown until 1957 when they moved to Marlin. There, Charles began a career with the VA as a dental technician and Danie as a customer service representative with Southwestern Electric Service Company.

     After retirement, they continued to reside in Marlin until 2004 when health issues made it necessary for nursing care.

     Danie and her family were active members of the Georgetown Church of Christ, the Ward St. Church of Christ and the Eastside Church of Christ in Marlin. Sewing, painting and various crafts were hobbies she enjoyed, but her love, devotion and dedication to her family will forever be remembered. Her family and friends mourn her passing but celebrate and rejoice in her Christian life, legacy and victory.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Robert Hausenfluck in 1963, and her son, Jim Daily in 1998.

     Surviving her are her husband of 62 years, Charles Daily of Temple; children, Charles Daily and wife Jody of Groesbeck, Pat Clowe and husband Kelley of Keller, Angela Jarosek of Temple; daughter-in-law, Barbara Parrish of Houston; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Lambert and husband Johnnye of Florence; sister-in-law, Bettie Miller of Belton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

     A Memorial Service and Celebration will be held at the Eastside Church of Christ in Marlin on Thursday, June 14 at 7 p.m. with visitation prior to service from 6 to 7 p.m.
