Mrs. J. J. Davis Burned To Death

     Information reached the city Monday afternoon of the tragic death of Mrs. Davis, wife of Hon. J. J. Davis, at their in the Mustang Prairie community.

     While around a fire in the yard, where hogs were being killed, the lady’s clothing caught fire and before the flames could be extinguished she was so badly burned that death resulted.

     The family is well known in Falls county, having resided in the county for many years, and the distressing accident is deeply regretted by all those who know them.
