Doris Lee Eggbrecht Concilio

February 24, 1918 – June 7, 2007

     Doris Lee Eggebrecht Concilio, 89, of Waco, died June 7, 2007.

     Graveside services were held Monday at the Rosemound Cemetery in Waco with Dr. Ron Durham officiating.

     Mrs. Concilio was born Feb. 24, 1918 in Rosebud to Nora and James Eggebrecht. She graduated from Waco High School and then was employed as a switch board operator for the telephone company. She married Paul Concilio Oct. 6, 1940 in Waco.

     While rearing four children, she and Paul owned and operated Paul's Shoe Store. Mrs. Concilio continued to run the shoe business after her husband's death. She was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church.

     Survivors include her four children and spouses, Paul and Jeannette Concilio, Tisa Bilek, Carole Concilio and Cathy and Carl Bryan; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
