UNCLE OF MARLINITES
BURIED IN LIMESTONE

       J. D. Collins, age about 93, died at his in the Prairie Grove community of Limestone county about noon, Saturday, May 16, 1953.  He was an uncle of Mrs. Roy Eddins and W. H. Byrd.  He was a native of Georgia and came to Texas when he was a young man and settled in Limestone county and engaged in a lifetime of farming activities.
       Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Prairie Grove Baptist Church and burial in the church cemetery.
       He is survived by his widow at Prairie Grove.  Three sons, Dewitt (C)ollins, Prairie Grove; Jimm Col(lins), Bartlettsville, Oklahoma; and (missing) Collins in a northern state. (Missing) nine grandchildren.
       (Missing) and Mrs. Roy Eddins and (missing); Mrs. W. H. Byrd of Marlin attended the funeral services.
