Negro Drowned in Mussel Run.

       Rafe Coleman, a negro about 23 years of age, was drowned in Mussel Run creek on the Peacock farm seven miles south of Marlin Wednesday afternoon.
       Coleman, with a number of other negroes on the farm, went in swimming in ten feet of water.  Coleman could swim but little and was warned by his companions of the swift current of the stream.  Saying that he could swim it, he plunged in and was carried away never rising to the surface.  The body was recovered about twelve o'clock today.
