MATTIE MAE COHN
March 26, 1922 - January 13, 2006
Mattie Mae (Fife) Cohn, 83, of Marlin, Falls Co., Texas entered into rest
January 13, 2006. Services were
held Monday January 16, 2006 at Adams Funeral Chapel with Rev. Andy Bratcher
officiating. Burial followed at
Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation was
held Sunday at Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cohn was
born March 26, 1922 in Limestone County, Ben Hur Community to Stephen Thomas and
Teresa Mae Alexander Fife. She
retired in 1976 from the VA Hospital in Marlin and farmed and ranched her entire
life. She loved most being with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Cohn
attended the Methodist Church.
Her husband
Leonard preceded Mrs. Cohn in death in 1991.
Survivors
include four sons, Gary Cohn and wife Judy, of Arlington, Texas, Dwain Cohn and
wife Cathy of Spring, Texas, Donald Cohn of Houston, Texas, and Kenneth Cohn and
wife Nancy of Spring, Texas; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were
her grandsons.
