W. M. CLAWSON DIES AT HIS IN REAGAN


W. M. Clawson, age 74, Confederate veteran and a citizen of Falls county about thirty years, died at his in Reagan early Saturday morning. The exact time is not known, as he was found dead in bed about 5 o'clock. He had been afficted with heart trouble for about two years.

Mrs. Clawson had watched over him closely for a long while. Quite recently his condition seemed to be somewhat improved and the end was not believed to be so near. Mrs. Clawson and her husband were the only occupants of the house and wife was the first to learn of her husband's death. He was a native of Mississippi.

There were a number of sons and daughters in the family, Mrs. G. E. Kunze of this city being one of them. She was apprised of her father's death a little after 5 o'clock Saturday morning and left soon after for Reagan.

The funeral services were helf at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon, services conducted by Rev. W. A. Craven, pastor of the Reagan Methodist church, of which deceased was a member.
