ALBERT H. BELL, Former Falls Resident Dies

Albert Henry Bell, 88 years old, formerly of Falls County, died at 2:30AM Monday, Jan. 24 at Anson, Texas, where he lived with a daughter, Mrs. Albert Graham.

Funeral services are pending at Adams Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Garrett Cemetery in the Stranger community.

Mr. Bell is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Katy Duke of Houston, Mrs. Clara Lamson of Marlin and the former Dorothy Bell, who  is living in California, and several grandchildren.

Mr. Bell was born Jan 18, 1878, at Big Hill, northeast of Stranger, and was a retired farmer of the Stranger community.  His wife, who died Nov. 20, 1961 was the former Miss Florence May Lewis.  She and Mr. Bell were married at Big Hill in 1902.  They lived at Odds and Kosse before moving to Marlin in 1959.  After his wifes death, Mr. Bell lived with his children. 

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Former Falls Resident Dies at 88

Marlin (SPL)--Albert Henry Bell, 88, a former Falls County resident died at 2:30 a. m. Monday at Anson, where he lived with a daughter.

Funeral services will be at 2 P. M.  today in Adams Funeral at Marlin with Rev. Gerald Griffin officiating.  Burial will be in the Garrett Cemetary in the Stranger community east of Marlin about 10 miles.

Mr. Bell was born in 1878 at Bell Hill, northeast of Stranger.  He was a retired farmer. 

His wife died Nov. 20, 1961.  She was the former Miss Florence May Lewis.  She and Mr. Bell were married at Bell's Hill in 1902.  They also lived at Odds and Kosse before moving to Marlin in 1959.

Mr. Bell was a Presbyterian.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Katy Doop of Cleveland, Mrs. Clara Lamson of Marlin, Mrs. Albert Graham, of Anson and Mrs. Dorothy Crawford of California; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

My notes:
There are two seperate Obits for Albert Hillary Bell.  His name is also written as Albert Henry and I have been assured that it is Albert Hillary.   

Albert Hillary Bell died Monday, Jan 24th, 1966. 

One Obit says "Big Hill" the other say's "Bell's Hill or Bell Hill" . Was to my understanding that it was called Bell's Hill.
