OBITUARIES

Mrs. Annie Baty



     Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Baty, 81, of Waco will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Connally-Compton Funeral Downtown Chapel, the Revs. Bill Crow, Albert Schroeder Jr. and Joe Robert officiating.

     Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin.

     Mrs. Baty died Tuesday at a local hospital.  She lived in Waco the last 44 years.

     Survivors include five daughters, Irene Caddell, Sammy Lois Wiggs, Pauline Hargrove, Nadine Kent and Lou Stone, all of Waco; two sons, John Baty of Austin and George Baty of Waco; eight sisters, Emma Sibley and Mollie Burns, both of Lott, Malotte Kamas of Brenham, Mary Donath of Rosebud, Lucy Lochart of Houston, Ollie Robert of Bellmead, and Julie Crites and Willie Mae Pomykal, both of Waco; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

     Mrs. Annie M. Baty, 81, of Route 7 Waco, died July 23, at a Marlin hospital.

     Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. July 25, in the Connally-Compton Funeral chapel downtown.  The Rev. Bill Crow, Rev. Albert Schroeder Jr. and Rev. Joe Robert officiated.  Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Marlin, Texas.

     Mrs. Baty was born Dec. 24, 1903, in Falls County.  She was married to Sam Baty on December 27, 1919.  He died October 18, 1976.  She lived in Waco the last 44 years.

     Survivors include five daughters, Irene Caddell, Sammy Lois Wiggs, Pauline Hargrove, Nadine Kent and Lou Stone, all of Waco; two sons, John Baty of Austin and George Baty of Waco; eight sisters, Emma Sibley of Lott, Malotte Kamas of Brenham, Mary Donath of Rosebud, Lucy Lochart of Houston, Ollie Robert of Bellmead, Mollie Burns of Lott and Julie Crites and Willie Mae Pomykal, both of Waco; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
