     Marlin---Funeral services for Mrs. Fatima Walton Barton, 72, who died at her here Wednesday, were held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Adams Funeral Chapel. Rev. Loyd Chapman officiated.

 

     Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

 

     Mrs. Barton was mother of Mrs. Edwin Rhea of Waco. She was born at Franklin.

 

     Her late husband, Willie T. Barton, farmed in the McClanahan community, then was in the grocery business here until his death in 1941.

 

     Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. V.D. Ramby of Marquez, Mrs. J.L. Irwin of Houston, Mrs. Boone Roberts of Marlin and Mrs. Edwin Rhea of Waco; two sons, David Allen Barton Sr. of Gladewater and James D. Barton Sr. of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Victoria Dunten of Nyssa, Ore.; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
