       MARLIN -- Dorothy Ruth Tostmann Bussell of Marlin, a schoolteacher, died Thursday at a Marlin hospital.  She was 74.
       Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Adams Funeral Chapel in Marlin, Dr. John Jenkins officiating.  Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin.
       Mrs. Bussell was born Aug. 7, 1921, in Falls County near the Perry community.  She was a graduate of Riesel High School and graduated from Baylor University in 1943 with a degree in education.  She taught school at La Vega High School and with the Riesel Independent School District.  She married Dr. James S. Bussell on Dec. 5, 1942, in Bethesda, Md.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marlin, the Green Thumb Garden Club, Falls County Historical Commission and was a past Cub Scout den mother.  She was a lifetime Marlin area resident.
       Survivors include her husband, three sons, Carl Bussell of Bryan, Stanton Bussell of Waco and Robert Bussell of Lincroft, N.J.; a daughter, Carol Jones of Austin, and six grandchildren.
