BREMOND - Mrs. Augusta Burns, 94, of Bremond, formerly of Mustang, died Monday at a Bryan hospital.
Services were to be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Bremond, the Rev. Jim Turnage officiating. Burial was to be at Walnut Cemetery near Bremond.
Mrs. Burns was born Nov. 7, 1892, in the Walnut community between Kosse and Bremond, the daughter of Alek and Willa Jackson Watts. She was married to Eddie O. Burns; he died April 21, 1959. She lived in Mustang until 1985 when she moved to a Bremond nursing home.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Bertha Springfield of Bremond; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Eunice Watts of Bremond.
White Funeral of Kosse was to be in charge of arrangements.
