     Lonnie M. (Uncle Jim) Britt, passed away July 13, 2005 in Massachusetts.

     Funeral services were held Monday, July 18 at William J. Gormley Funeral in West Roxbury, MA with interment in Blue Hill Cemetery.

     Britt, who at one time lived in Marlin, was retired from the Boston Police Department. He was also a U. S. Navy Veteran.

     He was the beloved partner of Jesslyn Solomon of Quincy; father of Larry and James Britt, Denyse Geary and Todd Solomon. Beloved grandfather of Michael and Meredith Britt and Sydney and Sean Geary; brother of Doris Clem and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
