Mrs. Marye Louise Bresenhan, 51 years old, of 301 Craik Street in Marlin, died at 5:25 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, in a Marlin hospital.  She had been ill and a hospital patient since last Sept. 20.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Adams Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Loyd M. Chapman, pastor of the First Baptist Church of this city, officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be W. H. Byrd, Louis Hoting, Sam Dollahite, Bobby Davison, Valton Jones, Thad Shaw, District Judge John C. Patterson, C. T. Denard, Thomas Bartlett, Mike Koukas, Travis Chalmers and Rice Bratton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Eddins, Bill Shelton, John Chatmas II,
J. C. Chatmas, Jr., Frank Reed, Robert Sharp, Steele Alexander, Otho Casey, the doctors and staff of Torbett, Hutchings, Smith Memorial Hospital, Barnes Adams and J. D. Houston.

Mrs. Bresenhan was born Sept. 25, 1914, in the Odds community, a dauthter (sic) of Thomas Leroy (Whit) Criswell and Mary Catherine Durham Criswell.  She was graduated from Marlin High School and attended Southwest Texas State College at San Marcos.  She was married to Shelton Bresenhan Feb. 4, 1937, at Marlin.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church and also the Degree of Honor.

She is survived by her husband, one son, Pat Bresenhan of Marlin, a daughter, Mrs. Walter Cooling of LaPorte, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. John Moore and Mrs. Jay Saxon, both of Marlin, Mrs. Clint Erskine of Odds and Mrs. Wyatt Jacobs of Rising Star.  Four brothers preceded her in death.
