Miss Brackeen Dies Here Sunday, Rites Conducted Monday

     Miss Myrtle Brackeen, 76, of Route 2 Marlin, died Sunday morning in a Mart nursing home.

     Funeral services were conducted Monday at 4 p.m. in Criswell Community Church with Minister Robert Bankhead officiating.  Interment was in Criswell Cemetery.

     Miss Brackeen was born June 10, 1894 in Ellis County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Brackeen.  She had lived in the McClanahan community since 1933.

     She was a member of the Church of Christ.

     Survivors include one brother, R. F. Brackeen of Marlin; one sister, Mrs. Delphia Hall of Groesbeck; and several nieces and nephews.
