Ethel Adeline Marie Muchow Boehm

March 5, 1913 — June 1, 2001



     Funeral services for Ethel Adeline Marie Muchow Boehm, 88, of Brenham will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham.

     Pastor Matthew Jacobs will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.

     Visiting hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.

     Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Oaks Chapel.

     Mrs. Boehm died Friday at her home.

     Mrs. Boehm was born in Marlin and attended Marlin High School and Blinn College. She was a homemaker, substitute teacher at Grace Lutheran School, and bookkeeper and typist for her husband. She was a member of the Ladies Circle of Grace Lutheran for 55 years and served as president and Bluebonnet Zone president for the Women’s Lutheran Missionary League. She was a member of Grace Lutheran since 1936. She also served as president of the Blinn Women’s Faculty Association.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Julius Boehm Sr.

     Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Henry Boehm Jr. and Teddy of Brenham, and Robert William Boehm and Mary Ann of San Antonio; a daughter, Kathryn Boehm Wehring and Glenn of Brenham; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

     Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Grace Lutheran School, Trinity Medical School or a charity of the donor’s choice.
